Modern Reef C - Dip 100ml

C-Dip 1 is a professional coral dip extremely effective against parasites and bacterial infections. C-Dip 2 is the second protective layer of our professional coral dip against parasites and bacterial infections. C-Dip 2 also assists with the recovery of corals from stress and damage caused by pests or the shipping process. Free of iodine or oxidant. C-Dip contains penetrating substances that will affect egg strands of pests.

C-Dip Two-Stage Coral Immersion Bath System 

C-Dip is a two-stage coral immersion bath system designed for use during coral acclimation, inspection, and handling before placement into a reef or quarantine aquarium. C-Dip 1 and C-Dip 2 are both formulated without iodine or oxidizing agents. Both products are intended only for use as external immersion baths prepared with aquarium water. 

C-Dip 1 — Step 1 

C-Dip 1 is the first step in the C-Dip system. It is intended for use as part of a coral acclimation, inspection, and handling routine before placement into a reef or quarantine aquarium. Prepare C-Dip 2 before starting with C-Dip 1. Prepare a clean container with aquarium water and add 12 drops of C-Dip 1 per 1 liter of aquarium water. Mix thoroughly. Place the coral into the prepared bath for 5 minutes with gentle water movement. A small powerhead may be used to maintain gentle flow. After 5 minutes, remove the coral and transfer it immediately to a separately prepared C-Dip 2 bath. Discard the used C-Dip 1 bath solution after use. 

C-Dip 2 — Step 2 

C-Dip 2 is the second step in the C-Dip system. It is intended for use after C-Dip 1 as part of a coral acclimation, inspection, and handling routine before placement into a reef or quarantine aquarium. C-Dip 2 may also be used as part of a post-shipping, post-transport, or post-fragging coral handling routine. Shake vigorously before use. Prepare a clean container with aquarium water and add 12 drops of C-Dip 2 per 1 liter of aquarium water. Mix thoroughly. Place the coral into the prepared bath for 45 minutes with gentle water movement. A small powerhead may be used to maintain gentle flow. After 45 minutes, remove the coral and transfer it to your reef or quarantine aquarium. Discard the used C-Dip 2 bath solution after use. The full C-Dip 1 and C-Dip 2 process may be repeated every 5 days, up to 4 total cycles, if appropriate for the coral and aquarium husbandry routine. 

Important Use Information 

- Use only as an immersion bath. 

- Use only outside the aquarium. 

- Do not add directly to reef, display, or quarantine aquariums. 

- Do not reuse prepared bath solution. 

- Prepare fresh solution for each use. 

- Do not overdose. 

- Observe coral closely during use. 

- Discontinue use if the coral shows unusual stress. 

- For marine aquarium coral use only. 

- Not for human or veterinary use. 

- Not for use on fish, food animals, or plants intended for consumption. 

- Keep out of reach of children. 

Safety Warning 

WARNING: May cause eye and skin irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling. Wash hands thoroughly after use. If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If on skin: Wash with plenty of water. If irritation persists: Get medical advice.
